Great day for the Wollongong holiday camp
Monday the 10th April 2017, was a mixed bag when it come to the weather, chili at lunch and scorching by 3pm.
That didn't stop 29 youth from many Illawarra rugby clubs attending our first rugby clinic.
A full day of rugby teaching and fun games was enjoyed by all players from ages 6 to 15 years of age.
Director of rugby, Jayson Joerdens stated,
"We endeavored to develop young rugby minds on technique and law in a fun environment. From the feedback, we were successful with players expressing their excitement throughout the day, with our youngest impressed to receive their 'Diane Joyce Remedial Massage' sponsored rugby balls.
I had great assistance from Stuart Roodenrys who was integral in developing our 10-12 year group with a higher level of skill and intensity from the younger group".
With plans underway for a July school holiday clinic, watch this space for location and times.
